What is the Difference Between a Blog and Twitter?

   “A twitter is just something random that happens.” – Perhaps the most concise explanation of twitter that I have heard (…in a Yogi Berra kinda way.)

   Hi Emily,

   A blog and twitter are both platforms for posting information to the web.

   The blog post can be as long as you want and can include text, pictures, audio and video.

   A twitter post is limited to 140 characters of text, but can include links to anything.

   You can put anything you want in a blog post or a twitter post. Blogs can be random, twitter posts can be random, blog posts can be topical, twitter posts can be topical.
