First Snow of 2009
When you grow up in New England, you learn to love the first snow storm of the year. Sometimes they come in with a light dusting and other times they dump whole piles of the white stuff on the lawn.
2009 found us getting a nice big storm for the first snowfall and when C.C. saw what Emily had created in the woods behind their house he had to run back in and grab a camera so that she could explain it to the world. Just leave it up to a girl like Emily to let her imagination run wild in the woods during winter.

As a youth, I spent a few snowy days out in the woods alone or with a friend. Some great times were had. The BEST hot cocoa I ever had was from a thermos on one of those days.
